October 7, 2003 Election ---

In 1994, Black Hawk County lost out on a huge chance to be
revitalized by the RRR cultists' managing to defeat a referendum
to bring in "Casino Magic" -- by a lousy ***72*** votes!

Since then, we who are opposed to such hatefulness and stupidity
have been working steadily to get a second chance.

This year, we GOT it. A huge casino offered to build an 80-million-
dollar facility here in Waterloo, Iowa. Only the passage of the SAME
kind of referendum that had been so narrowly and sickeningly
defeated 9 years before stood in the way.

And THIS time, we **WON**!!!!!

The RRR cultists bid to defeat the measure was CRUSHED as Black
Hawk County's voters THIS time -- at last!!! -- not only *won* the vote
(which needed only to be a simple majority)... but the measure was
passed by a TWO-to-ONE margin!! 66% to 34%.

SENSIBLE people have at last prevailed in Northeast Iowa!!!

I am firmly convinced that Craig is a minor child who is angry at his
parents.

Why do more men than women support legal abortion? Abortion is a man's
best friend. It enables him to pressure his woman to kill her offspring
and allows her man to enjoy sex without consequences. Abortion. What a
beautiful choice.

Wrong again -- which for you is pretty normal.

I'm 62, and JUST as dedicated to fighting bigoted stupidity and
control-freakism as I was in Mississippi in 1964. And always will be.

Funny you should pick 1994, Craig. That was the year the Republicans took
over the House, and you Democrats haven't won it since.

Now you also no longer control the Senate or the Presidency either.

And you just lost the Governorship of the largest Democrat-controlled state
in the Republic to boot.

Oh yeah, you Dems are REALLY on a "win streak" NOW, aren't you Craig!

LOL

Right, real sensible...... Continuously failing to get the local economy
going, you folks think gambling will *rescue* you without consequence.....

It will. That has been documented well in other Iowa communities
that have obtained casinos and come OUT of their economic doldrums,
dramatically! The 2-1 victory tonight RESULTED from the people here
looking hard at those other venues, and recognizing that now, at long
last, it is OUR turn to come out ahead!

I didn't "pick" it, nitwit. That's when it *happened*. The LAST
time (hand hopefully, the last time *ever*!) that the RRR cult has
prevailed in this county.

> That was the year the Republicans took over the House, and

[[[ READERS: This person is SO bone-ignorant, she can't
comprehend that I'm a REPUBLICAN. Even
though I have told her *multiple* times that I have been a
Republican since 1964, and am currently a RE-elected
convention delegate and member of my county's Republican
Central Committee. Thus, she is one VERY ignorant loon. ]]]

> Now you also no longer control the Senate or the Presidency either.

Next year, it'll be time to OUST our inept and dishonest
Warmonger-in-Thief from the White House. Since he kowtows to
the RRR cultists, ANY Democratic candidate would make a FAR
better President. And if RRR cult influence continues in the Republic
Party, it also will be time to OUST Republicans from Congress until they
WAKE UP to the message that the RRR cult's agendas truly suck!

> And you just lost the Governorship of the largest Democrat-controlled
> state in the Republic to boot.

Nope. Since I'm a Reublican, I **WON**.

California now has a PRO-Choice, PRO-Gay-Rights, ANTI-RRR-cult
***REPUBLICAN*** governor. The BEST possible outcome!! Hopefully,
this will spell the beginning of the END of RRR-cult domination in ALL of
America!

> Oh yeah, you Dems are REALLY on a "win streak" NOW,
> aren't you Craig!

It's been a great night, ALL the way around. (And I'm not a
Democrat, ignoramus. Is your IQ in the single digits?)

Only an irresponsible pro-lifer would even think of this. Furthermore,
it is illogical. It makes no sense. Abortion doesn't "benefit" men
anymore than women. In fact, it "benefits" them less. The whole
purpose of abortion is to allow WOMEN to choose what is best for them
and their family.

Oh GOOD!! Then you finally AGREE!

It's always nice to see an Anti-Choicer actually grow a brain!
