Someone said this in a thread in another newsgroup. I thought of
Fuckwit immediately.

It's certainly a waste of time trying to convince him he's wrong.
You can't use rational means to move a person from a position they
didn't reach rationally.

All of Fuckwit's fuckwitted and goofy positions - on animals
"benefiting" simply by existing, or the non-existence of time "proved"
by the inability to "detect" time - are the products of an irrational mind.

Allez :

My guess is that when you read the quote you thought of the Goober
immediately, and with good reason. If it is as Goo says from another ng then the
person probably was talking about Goo, but I didn't find it in a Google search
so the Goober is probably lying again.

You have a fully irrational mind, Fuckwit.

The problem with Goober's lies is he thinks he believes he's telling
the truth. Pet food cows is one example.

He believed that one and probably still does. But it doesn't seem possible
that Goo is honestly stupid enough to believe all of his lies. Well, we know
he's not. For example we know he's not really stupid enough to believe he has a
PhD, so we know he is definitely comfortable with lying blatantly. We know his
boy the "Dutch" character respects and admires the Goober's lies as Goo does,
since he defends them and I remember him defending that one in particular. Goo
also recently lied to someone that he has been a Marine, so again we have proof
that Goo tells blatant lies that he knows are lies, as well as any of the
dishonest things the Goober says that he might honestly be stupid enough to
believe. Which is "better": when Goo is more stupid than dishonest, or more
dishonest than stupid? It's hard to say...but frequently wondered....
