Went to Walgreen's the other day to buy my weekly supply of prophylactics
(my wife is a Born-Again and Liberal to boot, and I don't want to catch any
of those diseases).

The young lass at the counter rang up the sale and the total came to $5.68.
I handed her $6 and she entered it into the cash register. Rummaging
through my pocket change, I found that I has 18 cents, so I handed her the
change. The girl looked at me, then at the cash register display and back
to me ... trying to say something, but nothing came out ... it was that
classic "deer in the headlights" look. I finally said to her "Just give me 2
quarters and we're even" ... it didn't register with her. After fidgeting
with her hair for a few seconds, she tried to cancel the transaction, in
order to enter the new amount of $6.18. Except, to cancel, it required the
ok of a Supervisor. When he finally showed up, and my patience was wearing
thin, he handed me my 2 quarters and handed her a handkerchief, because the
chick was now bawling like a baby, while he attempted to explain the
difficult math behind the transaction and the new direction it had taken.

Walking out of the store, I suddenly had the great urge to thank the likes
of vtcapo, or RT, aka vtCrappo, a retired Math Teacher, for the successfully
executed socialistic dumbing-down agenda of our next generation.

My apologies, vtCrappo, for calling you a failure. The example above
indicates that you were a raving success at providing the burgeoning fast
food industry with a whole new cadre of clueless employees. If it weren't
for people like you, we'd still have to pay science teachers ....

The thought of you married to a christian liberal
is tough to wrap my head around.

Must be fun dinner conversation at your house.

That's why we get along so well ... we don't talk ...
They all start off as party animals ... but as soon as
you say I do, they say I don't any more and you
cannot even sue for false advertising any more.
